This is a one day conference hosted by the University of Bolton’s Centre for Research for Health and Wellbeing.
You are invited to register for the University’s inaugural Bolton One conference on Friday 11 April 2014. Six speakers will deliver lectures that will each be followed by a panel discussion.
Reflecting the inclusive theme of the conference and speakers, this event is aimed at a broad spectrum of health and community professionals as well as community leaders.

Speakers include Rita Mistry whose talk is titled Scientific Approach ‘The Holistic Way’.
Rita graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Lancashire and has attained level 3 in Reiki method of healing and is a practising homeopath. She is a member of the Holistic Living Group Preston and teaches advance level students at holistic level courses organised by the HLG group. She says her interest in holistic therapies developed at a young age after her mother was cured of spondylitis with the help of homeopathic doctors in India. She studied homeopathy at Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Liverpool and she is an associate member of the Holistic Medical Association London.
Also speaking will be Professor of Psychology, Jerome Carson and Anna Fitzpatrick, Sports Rehabilitation Course Leader and Senior Clinician in the Bolton One Sports and Spinal Injury Clinic.
The event will also be attended by senior academics from the University’s Health and Social Care subject group.
This is a free conference. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
