The 2013 Fylde Coast Health Mela poster

The 2013 Fylde Coast Health Mela will take place at the Spanish Hall in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Saturday 5th October. The event will run from 11am to 4pm.

The first health mela ever to be held on the Fylde Coast, the event will feature the usual informative and entertaining mix of activities, games and health advice stalls, plus the opportunity to benefit from free health checks on eyesight, hearing, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

The chief guest will be Charles Shuttleworth, Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, and more than 80 exhibitors will be attending.

The Fylde Coast Health Mela is sponsored and supported by a large number of public sector bodies, healthcare and charitable organisations. In addition to regular supporters such as Roche, the Gujarat Hindu Society, the Blood Drop Team and the University of Manchester’s Health Olympic team, the event is also backed by all of the following:
