Ravindra was born and brought up in the beautiful Rift Valley of Kenya and came to UK in 1961 for further studies. He took his O- and A-levels at Birmingham Greenmore College and went on to qualify as an Industrial Chemist at what is now known as the University of Central Lancashire.
He started his employment as a Junior Scientific Officer at Preston Royal Infirmary in 1971 and subsequently got promoted to Senior and then a Chief over the years. He completed his Fellowship from John Moores University in Liverpool and a management course in Preston.
Having worked for 40 years at Royal Preston Hospital, he decided to retire in 2012 as a Chief Scientific Officer.
He is a Co-founder of National Forum for Health and Wellbeing and acts as its events co coordinator.
