On 4th October, Fleetwood residents will be able to attend and enjoy the town’s first Health Mela.
The event will run from 11am to 4pm and will be held at Fleetwood High School.
The Chief Guest will be Professor Dame Sue Bailey, President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
The format will be similar to Melas in other town and cities, comprising stalls, free health checks and information and a variety of entertainments, activities and refreshments. Special features will include a football demonstration by the FTFC youth team, and an entertaining mental health workshop for children led by Charlie Cairoli Jr.
Entrance is free. There is also free parking available and there will be free transport to and from town centre provided by Rideabilty Blackpool.
