Prime Minister Mr Boris Johnson has just announced relaxation of lockdown rules imposed due to Covid-19 pandemic. The Government has already published a road map for further relaxation.
We urge all member of all communities to avail the offer of free vaccination if they are eligible and are offered one. Vaccines have been shown to be safe and are a way forward to further easing of restrictions as well as normalisation of life.
Vaccines do not, though give 100% protection but reduce significantly risks of being admitted to a hospital and death. It also takes about 2-3 weeks after vaccination for the body’s immunity to reach sufficient level to fight the infection. It is therefore essential that we continue with precautions such as hands, face and space even after vaccination.
