National Forum for Health and Wellbeing is saddened by the rapid rise of Covid19 cases in India and the lack of resources resulting in a panic situation and stress for patients, their relatives, and the health care staff. India is a big country and has handled the initial wave of pandemic quite well, however this new wave, particularly with new Indian Mutation nas been much more aggresive leading to much rapid increase in number of cases and deaths. The lack of resources including oxygen has been particularly devastating. NHFW together with some other organisations has offered to help some of those suffering from mental trauma and emotional stress.
