The National Forum for Health and Wellbeing welcomes the appointment of Mr Kevin McGee as the new Chief Executive of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Mr McGee, currently the Chief Executive of Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, was selected after a rigorous recruitment process involving multiple stakeholders.

Mr McGee will succeed the current incumbent Karen Partington who is shortly to retire. Karen has been associated with the Lancashire Hospitals Trust for over a decade during which the partnership between NFHW and the Trust has flourished. Karen was honoured with NFHW’s Fellowship in 2017 by Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons for her support to our cause.
NFHW warmly congratulates Mr McGee on his new appointment. The NFHW has been working in partnership with the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in its efforts of empowering community and improving health literacy amongst local community since its foundation. NFHW looks forward to continuing and developing its existing strong partnership with the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust under Kevin McGee’s dynamic leadership.
