PRESTON HEALTH MELA TO BE ON 12 APRIL 2025
The first health Mela of 2025 will be held on Saturday 12 April 2025 at the Foster building, University of Central Lancashire, Preston from 11 am till 3 pm.
The Chief Guest for this year will be Dr Mumtaz Patel, President of the Royal College of Physicians of London. Dr Patel will also chair the pre event breakfast meeting on the theme “Health Education – Key to Promote Good Health”.
As is customary, the event will have several organisations setting up health and wellbeing related exhibits proving information and advice. There also will be free health checks for blood pressure, blood tests for sugar and cholesterol, general health and oral health advice, Reiki testing sessions and much more.
Event is free to attend and there will be fee car parking on the university campus.
This Health Mela is being organised in partnership with the School of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and several other organisations.
