A discussion of the first Fylde Coast Health Mela recently took place on the BBC’s Asian magazine programme, Indus.

Featuring the National Forum for Health & Wellbeing’s chair, Professor Romesh Gupta, Professor Satyan Rajbhandari and Cllr. Ramesh Gandhi, the interview examined the evolution of the Health Mela concept and considered the importance of providing people with a friendly and informal setting in which to gain accurate and confidential medical advice.
